Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt Rush To Mumbai From Alibaug For Ayan Mukerji’s Father Deb Mukherjee’s Last Rites
Ranbir shoulders Ayan’s dad Deb Mukherjee’s bier at funeral: Ayan Mukherjee’s father, Deb Mukherjee, passed away on Friday morning at the age of 83. Immediately, once the news of their dear friend’s demise broke, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt came back from their getaway. Leaving vacation in Alibaug, Ranbir Kapoor came down to his close friend Ayan after the news broke.
Ranbir carried the mortal remains of Ayan Mukherjee’s father, veteran actor Deb Mukherjee. Ranbir Kapoor was among those who carried him on their shoulders for the last rites. While the whole country was drenched in the colours of Holi, there was an atmosphere of mourning and pain at Ayan’s house.
