Advocate Chandrachud told the court about the threats received by Ranveer and the case being registered. He said that different FIRs have been registered for the same comment, which is an abuse of legal process. Rejecting this, Justice Surya Kant said the law will take its course on the threats received by Ranveer. The state government will investigate it. Despite the reprimand, Ranveer has been granted conditional relief from arrest. The court said that whenever Ranveer is summoned for questioning, he will have to join the investigation. Ranveer will have to surrender his passport at the police station. Ranveer will not be able to leave the country without the court’s permission.
