Rule Change 2025 ! 2024 has been said goodbye. With this, a new calendar has been put up on the wall. UPI payment limit doubled:
People using UPI on feature phones can make online payments up to Rs 10,000 from January 1. Currently, payments up to Rs 5,000 could be made on feature phones.
withdraw pension from any bank:
Good news for pension users. The government is going to make big changes in the pension system from January 1. From January 1, pension users will be able to withdraw pension money from any bank in the country. Additional verification will be required for this. Earlier, users could withdraw pension money only from the bank and branch in which they had an account.
Farmers will get 2 lakhs without guarantee:
From January 1, farmers will get loans of up to 2 lakh rupees without guarantee. The RBI Governor made this announcement in December. Currently, farmers were getting loans of up to 1.6 lakh rupees without guarantee.
Separate recharge for calling:
Now telecom companies will offer an alternative to voice + SMS packs. This will be beneficial for users who do not want data packs. As a result, the new packs will be cheaper. Currently, users who used their phones only for calling were forced to recharge for data.
Cars and commercial vehicles will be more expensive:
Maruti, Hyundai, Tata, Kia and MG vehicles will become more expensive from January 1. The prices of bikes and commercial vehicles will be 2-3% more expensive. This is because the cost of materials used in the manufacture of vehicles has increased.
WhatsApp will not work on old phones:
WhatsApp will not work on old phones from January 1. WhatsApp will not work on mobiles running Android 4.4 (KitKat) version and earlier. This is because WhatsApp’s Meta AI feature works only on the updated version of Android 4.4.
Pollution norms to be tightened:
Pollution levels in India have been increasing for the past few years. Keeping that in mind, the government has decided to tighten pollution norms. BS-VI will be implemented in the country from April 1 to control pollution caused by vehicles. Currently, BS-VI has been implemented from April 1, 2019.
Two big changes in cricket:
Captain Virat Kohli is set to make a comeback in the Indian Premier League. There are reports that he will once again captain RCB. Similarly, captain Rohit Sharma will retire from Test cricket after the World Test Championship. The Indian team will get a new captain.
No detention policy abolished from 5th to 8th:
With the end of the no-detention policy in the Indian education system, students who fail in 5th and 8th will not be promoted to another class. Failed students will have to pass the exam a second time within two months. Currently, all students pass up to 10th class.
Students can only take coaching if they are 16 years old:
Students below the age of 16 cannot take admission in coaching centers. If any coaching center publishes false advertisement, then a fine will be imposed.
