Telugu actor Sudhir Babu is preparing for his next film ‘Jatadhara’. In the meantime, an update has been released about the film. It seems that Bollywood beauty Sonakshi Sinha would be playing the lead role in it, he says. Sonakshi, though, hasn’t made any confirmation regarding the same; her negotiations with producers have been closed. There are even reports saying that she will be joining the sets of shoots from March 8. Provided everything goes on smoothly, this would be the Telugu debut of Sonakshi.
‘Jatadhara’ is a fantasy horror thriller. Sonakshi will feature in a different character in it. It is being directed by Venkat Kalyan. The mehrurat of the film was recently conducted in Hyderabad. Sonakshi, who proved her acting skills through films like ‘Dabangg’ and ‘Lootera,’ was recently featured in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s period drama film ‘Hiramandi: The Diamond Bazaar.’ She was also featured in the horror movie Kakuda, which was released on the OTT platform.
