Now, Sonu has surprised his fans by sharing a post in which he announced that he has broken up with his younger siblings, Neha Kakkar and Tony Kakkar, although he has now deleted the post from social media.
Sonu took to her former platform and shared a post in which she wrote, ‘I am deeply saddened to inform you all that I am no longer the sister of two talented superstars, Tony Kakkar and Neha Kakkar.’ My decision came out of deep emotional pain, and I am truly disappointed today.
Her post comes a few days after he attended Tony’s birthday on April 9. The reason behind the decision is not yet known, but many netizens speculated that it could be a genuine dispute or a publicity stunt to announce his upcoming project, but now Sonu Kakkar has deleted the post.
Earlier, singer Amaal Malik surprised fans by revealing the rift in his family. The 34-year-old musician opened up about his long-term struggle with clinical depression and growing isolation from his family, saying that he and his brother, singer Armaan Malik, had grown apart because of his parents, Dabu Malik and Jyoti Malik, although he also deleted his post shortly after.
Talking about Sonu Kakkar, he has previously worked professionally with both Tony and Neha Kakkar and is known for songs like ‘Babuji Zara Aayun Chalo’, ‘Yeh Kasur’, and ‘Aankhiyaan Nu Rahane De’. Apart from Hindi songs, Sonu has made a name for himself in various industries by singing in Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Punjabi and Nepali languages.
