Netflix has made its party royale game Squid Game: Unleashed available for free for a limited time for the first time. The game is now free for everyone, whether you are a Netflix member or not. According to Netflix, like all Netflix games, Squid Game: Unleashed is now free for everyone. Netflix has said that it has made this game free on the occasion of the release of the Squid Games Season 2 web series.
“Squid Game is Netflix’s most-watched series. Unleashed is a game that’s open to everyone, so everyone in the world can participate,” said Ellen Toxon, president of Netflix Games. “This is our first foray into gaming on Netflix. Squid Game: Unleashed is about playing classic games like Glass Bridge and Red Light and Green Light with or against your friends. That’s why we’re making it free for the holidays.”
Game Director Bill Jackson stated, “Our team has been working on Squid Game: Unleashed for several years. Making it was a challenge. Our crew had many discussions about how to integrate the show and the game. The basic concept was that when viewers saw the show, they would be motivated to play the game, or, if they already did, they would enjoy watching it.”Jackson continued, “It was truly about bringing in individuals who aren’t familiar with the show or the series. It was also about giving them the opportunity to play the game. I believe the holidays are the finest time to draw folks in. The games that people haven’t seen will be seen in Squid Game Season 2.”
Squid Games Season 2 stars Lee Jung-jae, Lee Byung-hun, Lee Ha-jun, and Gong Yoo. The show also stars Im Si-won, Kang Ha-neul, Park Gyu-young, Lee Jin-yuk, Park Sung-hun, Yang Dong-jen, Kang A-sim, Lee David, Choi Seung-hyun, and Roh Jae-won. Jackson said that players like Jo Yu-ri and Won Ji-an have also been added to the cast.
