SRH Beat PBKS By 8 Wickets In IPL 2025 Match 27: Sunrisers Hyderabad made history by winning the 27th match of IPL 2025 by the largest margin, which was played in Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad. They registered a mammoth target of 246 runs and won by 9 balls and 8 wickets. This has been touted as the 2nd highest run chase in IPL history. Hyderabad opened with Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma and took the game from Punjab with electrifying, explosive batting while chasing the enormous target of 246 runs. Abhishek’s phenomenal innings score of 141 runs from 55 balls was most relevant in Hyderabad’s win. Head had 66 runs in his name while Klaasen made 21 runs.

Punjab won the toss in this game and chose to bat first. Justifying their choice, the Punjab batsmen played aggressively right from the beginning and took charge of the score in no time. The openers, Prayanshu Arya and Prabhasimran Singh, scored 36 and 42 runs respectively. Captain Shreyas Iyer made 82 runs in 36 balls. Nehal Wadhwa made 27, and Marcus Stoinis made 34 runs. Yet Glenn Maxwell’s bad run continued,, and he was out for a mere 3 runs. For Hyderabad, Harshal Patel claimed 4 wickets and Ishant Malinga claimed 2 wickets.
