Strong earthquake in Tibet

Strong earthquake in Tibet , A powerful earthquake struck neighboring Nepal and Tibet. 53 dead, 62 seriously injured. Nepal, Tibet and North India were shaken by a severe earthquake. The earthquake claimed lives. A severe earthquake jolted the Nepal-Tibet border this morning. Six consecutive earthquakes were felt. The epicenter of the earthquake was in Lobuche, Nepal. Its intensity was recorded as 7.1 on the Richter scale. It caused extensive damage. 

According to Reuters, more than 53 people have been killed and more than 62 injured in Tibet’s Dingri County. Similarly, an earthquake has claimed the lives of nine people in Nepal. Many houses have collapsed. The earthquake has caused widespread destruction in the city of Shigatse in Tibet. Many buildings have been damaged. 

The earthquake was felt in Nepal, Bihar, Sikkim, Assam and North West Bengal. People felt the tremors in various areas including Motihari and Tambarampur in Bihar at around 6:40 am. At least 9 people have died in Nepal due to this earthquake. After feeling the strong tremors in Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal, people fled their homes in fear.
