According to information, those who repeatedly violate traffic rules will now have their driving licenses cancelled. The Yogi Adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh has imposed such strict rules. The Chief Minister has given such instructions to the officials during the meeting of the Road Safety Council. In the meeting, emphasis was placed on traffic arrangements for the Prayagraj Mahakumbh. The Chief Minister said that a meeting of the District Road Safety Committee will be held by January 5. Along with this, the Chief Minister also gave other instructions regarding overloading hoardings, ban on e-rickshaws and driving by minors, crane services, and road safety parks.
The Chief Minister ordered putting up hoardings for road safety in all districts, tehsils, police stations, and municipal bodies and motivating people to follow helmets, seat belts, and other safety standards. Along with this, he also stressed the importance of setting up road safety clubs and road safety parks in every district.
Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak, Transport Minister Dayashankar Singh, Urban Development Minister AK Sharma and other senior officials were present in this meeting. In the meeting, the steps to be taken for road safety were discussed in detail.
