The state health department said that it has not tested the samples in the laboratory. after this, a 3-month-old baby has been detected with HMPV, while the 8-month-old infant is still under treatment at the hospital, and he has already been discharged.

This new virus infection has started in China 5 years after the coronavirus infection. Like Corona, HMPV also infects the respiratory system. According to media reports, this virus is spreading rapidly. Hospitals have been overwhelmed due to the virus infection. Along with this, many people have also died from it.

What is the HMPV virus?
Human metapneumovirus (HMPV) is an RNA virus that belongs to the Pneumoviridae family. It was first discovered by Dutch researchers in 2001. The virus primarily causes respiratory infections and spreads through coughing or sneezing.
