UPI Services Down Again: PhonePe-Google Pay Users Are Unable To Make Payments
UPI Services Down – Unified Payment Interface (UPI) servers have suddenly gone down across India. As a result, many UPI users are facing problems in making money transactions. According to the report of Downdetector, many UPI users have complained about the problem till 12 noon. Major digital payment platforms such as Google Pay, Paytm and PhonePe apps are facing problems.
The issue after speaking to people across the country. Users are seeing an error while scanning a QR code or sending a UPI-linked phone number or UPI ID directly. According to Downdetector, the issue with UPI servers started around 11:30. According to the platform, this issue has been seen by UPI users across the country. 76% of users are facing problems with payments, while 23% are seeing errors in money transactions. Gradually, user complaints are increasing.
UPI was down last month too.
It is worth mentioning that the UPI service was down last month as well. After many users complained about this on social media platforms, the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) clarified the matter on its website. After this, the issue was resolved within a few hours.
