US Vice President JD Vance arrived in India on a four-day visit. Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav welcomed US Vice President JD Vance and his wife at Palam Airport in Delhi. During this, he was given a guard of honor. He will also meet Prime Minister Modi today. Vance and his family will also visit Jaipur and Agra apart from Delhi during their four-day visit to India.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold talks with US Vice President Vance on Monday on a number of key issues, including trade, tariffs, regional security and ways to advance overall bilateral ties, and then host a dinner for him and Usha in the evening.

Vance has come to India at a time when a few weeks ago US President Donald Trump had suspended the imposition of a wide-ranging tariff regime against about 60 countries, including India. India and the US are now in talks to finalise a bilateral trade agreement that is likely to cover a number of issues, including tariffs and market access.
