North-West Direction

East direction
The east direction is considered very auspicious. In this direction only, the sun rises. The main door of your house should preferably be in the east direction.
It is considered very good to have a kitchen or a toilet in any West-facing house. According to Vastu, the kitchen and the toilet should not be closed.
Do not put a toilet on this side too, it will be inauspicious.
It is very important to have a yard in the house and plants like basil, mango, flowering plants, etc. should be planted in the yard.
