On Thursday, Netflix confirmed the OTT release date of ‘Chhaava ‘ on its official Instagram handle. According to which the film has been released on April 11, i.e., today. ‘Chhaava ‘ box office collection
‘Chhaava ‘ ruled the box office for 52 days. It has earned Rs 790.14 crore (US$ 92 million) worldwide, and its domestic collection has earned around Rs 600 crore. The film’s total collection in India has reached Rs 599.85 crore. With this, it has become the highest-grossing Indian film of 2025. In addition, the film’s tremendous box office performance has made it the eighth highest-grossing film of all time in India. It is at the thirteenth position among the highest-grossing Indian films.
Talking about ‘Chhaava,’ Vicky Kaushal will be seen in the role of Chhapapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the eldest son of Chhapapati Shivaji Maharaj, the founder of the Maratha Empire. Rashmika will be seen playing the role of his wife, Yashubhai. Director Laxman Utkar has directed the film Chhaava. This is Vicky’s second film with the director, while it is Rashmika’s first film with both of them. Akshaye Khanna will be seen in the role of Aurangzeb in the film.
