RCB star player Virat Kohli created history on Saturday in the opening match of IPL 2025 against KKR. This was Virat Kohli’s 400th T20 match in which he scored an unbeaten 59 against KKR. King Kohli thus became the first player in the world to score 1000 runs against four teams in the IPL.

Kohli touched the special milestones of 400 and 1000 in the same match.

On the basis of his unbeaten innings of 59 runs, RCB won the opening match of IPL 2025 by 7 wickets. This was Kohli’s 400th T20 match, in which he created history. Kohli has become the only cricketer to score 1000 runs against 4 different teams in the IPL. Virat Kohli has been a part of RCB since the inception of the IPL in 2008.

The very first match of the 18th season of IPL was very special for Bangalore and Virat Kohli. Virat, who wore jersey number 18 for his team, was playing in IPL for the 18th consecutive time and this 18th season was also won by Royal Challengers Bangalore. This was the 400th match of Kohli’s T20 career and he became only the third Indian after Rohit Sharma and Dinesh Karthik to reach this level.
