‘Raid 2’ teaser released- Ajay Devgan is back with the sequel of his film ‘Raid’. This film, released in the year 2018, proved to be a hit. In this, Ajay was seen as Income Tax Officer Amay Patnaik. In the first film, Amay raided the house of Rameshwar Singh, alias Tauji. To extract black money from his house, Amay and his team even demolished Tauji’s walls. Now Amay is making a comeback, and this time he is going to enter the house of a politician named Dada Bhai.
Teaser of film Raid 2 released
The teaser of the film ‘Raid 2’ has been released, in which Ajay Devgan can once again be seen in Amay Patnaik’s uniform. Wearing a black shirt, brown pants, and dark glasses on his eyes and carrying a suitcase in his hand, Amay can be seen entering Dada Bhai’s house. This is Amay Patnaik’s 75th raid. With the film ‘Ek Villain,’ Ritesh has proved that it is very difficult to compete with him in the role of a villain. Here he is seen in a different avatar as the politician Dada Bhai. After the teaser release on Eid, the makers of Raid 2 are now looking to drop the trailer soon. According to sources, the trailer for Raid 2 will be out next week. The thriller led by Ajay Devgn will see its trailer launch event on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, say sources close to the team.
Apart from Ajay Devgan and Riteish Deshmukh, actors like Vaani Kapoor, Rajat Kapoor, Saurabh Shukla, Supriya Pathak, Amit Sial, and Yashpal Sharma will also be seen playing important roles in the film. It is being said that Raveena Tandon is doing a cameo in this film. Vaani Kapoor will be seen in the role of Ajay Devgan’s character Amay’s wife in the film, in which Ileana D’Cruz was earlier seen. The film ‘Raid 2’ will be released in theaters on 1 May 2025. It is directed by Raj Kumar Gupta.
