Weather update in odisha , IMD alert 7 district . Due to the influence of the western storm, there is a possibility of rain at some places in the state today and tomorrow. Especially in western and northern Odisha, there is a possibility of light rain at places.
However, according to the weather department’s forecast, light rain is likely to occur at one or two places in Bargarh, Balangir, Nuapada, Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Sambalpur, Sonepur on Saturday. The weather will remain dry in the rest of the areas. Similarly, light rain is likely to occur at places in Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Keonjhar, Kandhamal and Kalahandi tomorrow. The weather is expected to remain dry everywhere else.
According to the Bhubaneswar Meteorological Centre, there is no possibility of rain in the coastal and adjacent areas. Therefore, the weather is likely to remain sunny. It may remain partly cloudy. By 30th, the night temperature will decrease in the state and the cold will increase. There is a possibility of more cold spell in the state during the New Year.
