As easy it is to apply for Para Commandos, getting selected is equally difficult. Not all soldiers coming through direct recruitment and from Indian Army become Para Commandos. Out of all applicants who start their Para Commando training, only 2 to 5 percent people are able to join the Para Commando Special Forces. Before joining the Para Commando Special Forces, it is mandatory for any soldier to be a paratrooper, for that they have to first take paratrooper training and clear the paratrooper test. Only after becoming a paratrooper, one can apply for Para Commando Special Forces Advanced Training.
The selection process for Para Commandos
