Ram Navami Puja Vidhi
On the day of Ram Navami, first of all, wake up in Brahma Muhurta, take a bath, and purify yourself. After this, take a vow to observe the fast and make up your mind to worship Lord Shri Ram. While observing the fast, remember to speak the truth and maintain good conduct throughout the day. Purify the place of worship with Gangajal, place a stool there, and spread a yellow cloth on it. Then install the idols of Lord Shri Ram, Mother Sita, brother Laxman, and Shri Hanuman on it. This Chowki is considered especially auspicious for the worship of Lord Shri Ram. Now, meditate on Lord Shri Ram and invoke Him.
Invite Lord Rama to your home and offer your respect at his feet. After this, perform the Panchopchara puja, in which flowers, sandalwood, a lamp, naivedya (prasad), and offerings are made. Now recite Ram Stotra and Ram Chalisa. Reciting the Ram Stotra brings blessings of Lord Shri Ram. Reciting Ram Chalisa is especially considered to increase strength and good fortune. At the end of the puja, do the Aarti of Lord Shri Ram and offer thanks to him. Finally, distribute the Prasad and make all the members of the house happy.
