Red Color Ganesh:
Worshipping the red Ganesha gives auspicious results. It is said that when Lord Ganesha was beheaded, he got a new life by putting on the elephant’s head. At that time, Mother Parvati saw Lord Ganesha and said that she saw vermilion on his face. Therefore, people always worship Lord Ganesha by applying vermilion. Often, the idol of Lord Ganesha is seen decorated in red in temples.
The Sritattatbanidhi Granth describes the names and forms of 32 Ganapatis. Out of these, 15 Ganapatis are – Baal Ganapati, Taruna Ganapati, Veer Ganapati, Kshipra Ganapati, Maha Ganapati, Vijaya Ganapati, Ekakshara Ganapati, Bara Ganapati, Kshipra prasada Ganapati, Sriti Ganapati, Uddanta Ganapati, Dhundi Ganapati, Trimukha Ganapati, Yoga Ganapati, and Sankat Har Ganapati are red.
Green Color Ganesh Idol:
So, those who have a desire for wealth should always worship the green Ganesha idol. In South India, temples with green Ganesha idols are seen.
Yellow Color Ganesh Idol:
Where the yellow Ganesha idol resides. If you want to attain salvation or want to get rid of the world, then worship the white Ganesha idol or photo. By worshiping the white Ganesha idol or photo for three times, salvation is obtained.
Black Ganesh Idol:
The black Ganesha idol should be placed in the north-east direction. According to Vastu Shastra, doing so relieves mental stress and diseases.
Orange color Ganesh:
Keep the orange coloured Ganpati Bappa in the south or south-east direction. It is believed that this increases self-confidence.
White Ganesh Idol:
To get peace and happiness in life and the blessings of Ganpati Bappa, you can bring a white Ganesha idol in the house. Ganpati of this color should be kept in the north-west direction.
According to Vastu experts, it is auspicious to install the idol of Lord Ganesha to remove the Vastu defects of the home temple, kitchen and office. However, in some places, idols of Ganesha are found in black, yellow, suneli, etc. All these colored Ganesha idols are worshipped for different purposes.
