Who attacked Saif Ali Khan? Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was fatally attacked late on Wednesday night. Amidst the debate over who carried out the attack and why, a photo of the main accused has surfaced.
Mumbai Police on Thursday said that the attacker entered the house through the fire escape with the intention of committing a burglary and stayed there for some time. The suspect was captured in CCTV footage from the 12th floor of the building where Saif lives with his family.
The attack took place in the children’s room at the actor’s house in Mumbai’s Bandra area at around 2:30 am, when a domestic helper saw the miscreants and raised the alarm. Hearing the noise, Saif Ali Khan entered the room and confronted the miscreants, which led to a violent struggle, and the miscreants stabbed the actor six times.
The domestic helper also suffered minor injuries to her hand. The 54-year-old actor underwent surgery after suffering serious injuries to his spine. His condition is now stable. The suspect, who fled the scene, has been identified. Police have formed ten teams to nab him.
