Why did Modi apologize? The Mahakumbh Mela 2025 has concluded with great pomp. During the 45-day-long historic festival, crores of devotees took holy dip in the Triveni Sangam with faith and devotion. On the occasion of the concluding ceremony of the Mahakumbh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi called it a ‘Maha Yangya of Unity’ and thanked all the devotees for participating in this divine event. He also apologized for the inconvenience caused to the devotees.

What did Prime Minister Modi say about the Mahakumbh?
Apart from this, Prime Minister Modi tweeted one after the other, saying, ‘When the faith of 140 crore countrymen comes together in one place, that sight becomes unforgettable.’ We witnessed this amazing sight during the Mahakumbh in Prayagraj. This event is not just a religious festival but a symbol of our cultural unity and integrity. In this Mahakumbh, more than 66.21 crore devotees took holy bath in Triveni Sangam, informed Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The event, which lasted from 13 January to 26 February, was attended by devotees not only from India but also from abroad. During this time, politicians, film stars, sports personalities, industrialists, and spiritual gurus all joined this holy occasion.
