Mother is worshipped by many names like Bagiswari, Bhagavati, Sharada, Veenavani, Bagdevi, Veenapani etc. As she originated in music, Mother is also known as the Goddess of Music. Basant Panchami is celebrated as Mother’s birthday. Not only that, the first festival of our world-famous Rath Yatra also starts. On the occasion of Shri Panchami, the Rath Aukkha Puja is performed. With this, the first festival of preparation for Mahaprabhu’s world-famous Rath Yatra begins.
