Skype Shut Down in May: Microsoft is going to shut down Skype, which has been providing internet calling services for the last two decades. Microsoft Teams is coming, marking the end of Skype’s two-decade era. Microsoft has announced that the Skype app will no longer be available from May 5. The company also announced in a blog post that data from Skype will be migrated to Microsoft Teams. Microsoft will gradually transition from Skype to Teams over the next three months. While Skype and Teams share many features, Teams has some more advanced features, the company said.
