Odisha girl brutally dead in Uttarakhand. 23-year-old girl Sriti Sharma of Jayepur area of Rayagada district was brutally murdered in Lalpur, Uttarakhand. Lalpur police have clarified that the son of the owner of the rented house where Sriti lived was the one who murdered her. She was staying there for the last 6 months and was doing an internship in a company. She was staying in a rented house of a person named Kameswar Singh.
On Tuesday, the family tried to contact Srithi on phone but got no response, so Srithi’s relatives reached Lalapur on Wednesday. After a long search, they filed a missing person case with the local police. The police questioned the house owner’s son Amit Kumar on the basis of CCTV footage. It is reported that he confessed to killing Srithi. Amit confessed to the police that after killing him, he threw the stone-laden vehicle into the local Bador river. However, the reason for the murder is unclear. The police are questioning Amit. On the other hand, the family of the deceased Srithi has left for Uttarakhand today.
