Four Arrested in Connection With Rohit Shetty House Firing : A shooting incident outside the residence of noted film director Rohit Shetty on Sunday has led to the arrest of four accused, police said. All the accused were produced before a court on Monday and have been remanded to police custody for four days, during which further detailed interrogation will be carried out.

The arrested accused have been identified as Aditya Gyaneshwar Gayaki (19), Siddharth Deepak Yenpure (20), Samarth Shivsharan Pomaji (18), and Swapnil Bandu Sakat (23), all residents of Pune. They have been booked under sections 109, 61(2), 3 and 25 of the Arms Act, along with sections 37(1), 37(2) and 135 of the Indian Penal Code, police officials confirmed.

According to investigators, the accused played an active role in assisting those who opened fire outside Rohit Shetty’s house. Police said Samarth Shivsharan Pomaji allegedly conspired with Shubham Lonkar, while Aditya Gayaki helped procure a Honda Dio scooter (MH12 FN 2205), which was used to facilitate the crime. The accused allegedly provided logistical support to the shooters before and after the incident.

Police further revealed that Shubham Lonkar, with financial backing, arranged the vehicle and coordinated the entire operation. Lonkar, along with Arju Bishnoi, both associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, has already claimed responsibility for the firing. Authorities said efforts are ongoing to trace and arrest the main conspirators, while security around the filmmaker’s residence has been tightened.
