Sharing her photograph on Instagram, the family wrote that she passed away on February 17 and informed that her last rites would be held at 3 pm at Chakala Parsiwada Hindu Crematorium in Andheri. The note was signed by her family members — Anirudh, Abhimanyu, Ruchira and Veer Deshpande.
Pravina Deshpande had been battling cancer for a long time. Despite her illness, she remained deeply connected to her craft and continued to work with dedication. Even in her final years, her passion for cinema never faded.
