PM Narendra Modi Crosses 30 Million YouTube Subscribers, Sets Global Record
Narendra Modi Becomes Most Followed Global Leader on YouTube, Crosses 30 Million Subscribers: In a significant digital milestone, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has crossed 30 million subscribers on his official YouTube channel, making him the most followed political leader in the world on the platform. The achievement underlines his continued dominance not only in Indian politics but also across global social media spaces.
Among Indian leaders, the gap is striking. Rahul Gandhi has around 10.1 million subscribers — nearly one-third of PM Modi’s total. The official YouTube channel of the Indian National Congress stands at approximately 7.1 million subscribers, while the Aam Aadmi Party has close to 7.5 million. The All India Trinamool Congress trails further behind with around 70,000 subscribers.
The Prime Minister’s digital popularity extends far beyond India. He now ranks as the most subscribed global political leader on YouTube, ahead of former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro, who reportedly has only about a quarter of Modi’s subscriber base.
30 Million Strong: PM Modi’s Digital Reach Breaks New Ground
PM Modi’s influence is equally powerful on other social platforms. On Instagram, he has crossed 100 million followers, becoming the first sitting Prime Minister to achieve this landmark. In comparison, former U.S. President Donald Trump has around 43.2 million followers, Indonesia’s President Prabowo Subianto has 15 million, Brazil’s President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva has 14.4 million, Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has 11.6 million, and Argentina’s President Javier Milei has 6.4 million followers.
Additionally, PM Modi commands a massive presence on X (formerly Twitter) with over 106 million followers and 54 million followers on Facebook.
This milestone reflects more than just numbers — it highlights a carefully built digital strategy that allows the Prime Minister to connect directly with citizens, bypass traditional media filters, and engage audiences worldwide. In today’s political landscape, digital reach has become a powerful indicator of influence, and PM Modi’s latest achievement reinforces his position as one of the most digitally influential leaders of our time.
