The company has two main objectives for the money that will be received from this IPO, firstly, it will use it to pay off its debt of Rs 4987.5 crore. Secondly, the rest of the money will be used for the day-to-day operations of the company and to increase the business. However, the company can raise around Rs 1,330 crore (Pre-IPO Placement) from some big investors before bringing the Main IPO. If it does, then the size of the IPO coming to the general public will be reduced. OYO (Prism) had submitted documents for this in December 2025 in a confidential manner, and now it has received approval from SEBI. That means the company can launch its IPO in the market soon.
