US launches fresh airstrikes on Iran, explosions across 90 Iranian military bases: The US has launched a fresh military attack against Iran on Wednesday. The US Central Command (CENTOM) claimed that it had targeted about 90 Iranian military bases. These include air defense systems, missile-drone storage sites, surveillance sites, naval bases, and military logistics infrastructure.

This action was taken a few hours after Trump announced that the interim ceasefire with Iran has ended. The US Central Command said that these attacks were carried out to prevent Iranian attacks on ships in the Strait of Hormuz.

After these attacks, explosions were heard in several cities in the southern coastal areas of Iran and power supply was also interrupted in some areas. The US strikes targeted the Salman Command headquarters of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in Iranshahr, southeastern Iran. Apart from this, American attacks were also carried out in many areas, including Iranshahr, Chabahar, Konarak, Bandar Abbas, Jask, Sirik and Qeshm in southern Iran. A major railway bridge in northern Iran has also been targeted. After the American air strikes, the Iranian air defense system has also become active.
