2 Dead After Massive Fire in Noida’s Mamura Village
Noida’s Mamura Village Fire Kills Two, 50 Families Rescued: A massive fire broke out in a residential building in Mamura village, Noida, near Delhi, killing two people. The fire reportedly started after a spark from an electric bike battery being charged.
The blaze quickly spread to nearby petrol-powered vehicles, creating panic among residents. Seven fire tenders, a hydraulic platform, police, and fire officials reached the spot and launched a rescue operation.
Around 50 families living in the G+4 building were safely evacuated. Two people who suffered from smoke inhalation were taken to the district hospital, where they later died.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took note of the incident and directed officials to speed up rescue and relief work. He also instructed them to ensure proper treatment for the injured and closely monitor the situation.
Police have registered a case against the building’s landlord/leaseholder and taken the accused into custody. Further investigation is underway.
