Spain Enter World Cup Final After Victory Over France
Spain Beat France 2-0 to Reach FIFA World Cup Final: Spain defeated France 2-0 in the first semi-final of the 2026 FIFA World Cup in Dallas to book a place in the final. It is Spain’s second World Cup final, and they will now face the winner of the Argentina vs England semi-final.
Spain took the lead in the 22nd minute when Mikel Oyarzabal scored from the penalty spot after Lamine Yamal was fouled inside the box. Pedro Porro added the second goal in the 58th minute with help from Dani Olmo to seal the victory.
France, led by Kylian Mbappé, could not break Spain’s strong defence. The second semi-final between Argentina and England will be played on July 16 (IST). The World Cup final is scheduled for July 20.
