Out of total 26 patients, 10 are undergoing treatment in the hospital, while 9 patients are in home isolation.
7 fresh Covid-19 cases reported in Andhra, toll rises to 26: Andhra Pradesh on Tuesday reported 7 new cases of Covid-19. With this, the total number of active cases in the state rises to 26. The health department says that 3 of these patients have fully recovered and have been discharged.
According to the health department, of the new cases, 4 cases have been reported from Guntur district, 2 from East Godavari and 1 case from Bapatla. The department has clarified that these cases are from different areas and there is no cluster outbreak anywhere in the state.
The department said that a total of 145 samples have been tested in the state so far. Out of total 26 patients, 10 are undergoing treatment in the hospital, while 9 patients are in home isolation. 3 patients have fully recovered and have been discharged. Four patients have died. According to the health department, all these four deceased had other serious problems before they were infected with corona.
Active cases of Covid-19 were found from Kadapa(8), Guntur(6), East Godavari(3), Kakinada(2), Bapatla(2), Visakhapatnam(1), Eluru(1), Nellore(1), NTR(1), Parvatipuram Manyam(1).
