MCC Announces NEET UG 2026 Counselling Dates
NEET UG 2026 Counselling to Begin on August 4, MCC Releases Schedule: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the NEET UG 2026 counselling schedule. The first round of All India Quota (AIQ) counselling will begin on August 4, while the new academic session will start on September 8.
The first round of AIQ counselling will be held from August 4 to 17, followed by the second round from August 24 to September 2 and the third round from September 10 to 18. The Stray Vacancy Round will take place from September 28 to October 3, with admissions ending on October 10.
For State Quota seats, the first round will be conducted from August 13 to 22, the second round from August 31 to September 8, the third round from September 16 to 26, and the Stray Vacancy Round from October 3 to 5.
The MCC has also introduced new changes to make counselling easier. Candidates opting for seat upgradation will not have to report to the college to keep their seat. Students can now resign online through the MCC portal, and NRI candidates can upload their documents online. These changes aim to make the admission process simpler and more transparent.
