Bollywood star Ajay Devgn celebrated wife Kajol’s birthday with a playful yet heartfelt social media tribute. ‘Turns out my best jokes have had the same audience all these years….Happy birthday, @kajol,’ Ajay wrote on Instagram.
Kajol played a negative role in Rajeev Rai’s blockbuster suspense thriller ‘Gupta: The Hidden Truth’ in 1997. It was believed that if the heroine became a villain, her innocent image would be lost. But Kajol completely rejected this idea. She was also honoured with the Filmfare Award for Best Performance in a Negative Role. In an interview, Kajol revealed that when she was in the 11th class, her grandmother’s health had deteriorated. She wanted to meet her grandmother but was not allowed to come home. In such a situation, she ran away from school to come home with one of her friends. But her bad luck was that she was caught at the bus stand.
Kajol, daughter of veteran actress Tanuja, made her Bollywood debut with ‘Bekhudi’, released on July 31, 1992.
