PM Modi’s foreign trip expenses revealed: The central government has disclosed in the parliament about the expenses incurred on the foreign trips of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The documents presented in parliament reveal a country-wise breakdown of travel expenses incurred between February and July 2026.
On Thursday, the Ministry of External Affairs told the Rajya Sabha that about 74.5 crore rupees have been spent on the Prime Minister’s foreign trips so far. According to parliamentary documents, Rs 5,57,17,369 was spent on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Malaysia on February 7-8. At the same time, a total of Rs 11,92,25,938 was spent on the trip to Israel on February 25-26. Between May 15 and 20, Prime Minister Modi visited the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Netherlands, Sweden, Norway and Italy. The expenses incurred on these trips are as follows:
United Arab Emirates- Rs.1,97,67,864
Netherlands- Rs.3,59,99,358
Sweden- Rs.6,32,90,593
Norway- Rs.17,46,50,390
Italy- Rs 4,23,88,557
The final account of the travel expenses of all these countries has been prepared after the settlement of the bills. Between 13 and 18 June, Prime Minister Modi visited France and the Slovak Republic. According to the documents, 4,77,43,080 rupees have been spent on the trip to the Slovak Republic. However, the final figure for the trip to France is yet to be prepared.
A total of Rs 8,22,03,329 was spent on the Seychelles trip between June 27 and 29. Travel expenses to Indonesia, Australia and New Zealand between July 6 and 11 are as follows:
