The decision has been taken in a meeting of the Milk Production and Processor Welfare Association headed by union president Gopalrao Mhaske. According to the association, diesel prices have risen by up to ₹10, while packaging costs have increased by nearly 30%. Considering these factors, the price of milk has been increased. This may also increase the prices of other dairy products in the future.
