Ashwini Vaishnaw Directs Railways to Ensure Safe and Smooth Train Operations During Heavy Rainfall
Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw Reviews Rainfall Situation and Railway Operations in East Coast Region: Hon’ble Railway Minister Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw reviewed the rainfall situation and the status of railway operations in the East Coast region. He instructed the General Manager of South Eastern Railway to closely monitor sections that are prone to waterlogging and take all necessary steps to ensure the smooth and safe movement of trains.
The Hon’ble Minister emphasized the need to maintain uninterrupted train services, particularly on important sections such as Rupsa-Baripada-Bangriposi and Rourkela-Bondamunda. He directed that additional manpower, equipment, and other necessary resources be deployed in these areas to deal with any rain-related challenges. He also stressed the importance of continuous monitoring and timely action to ensure the safety of passengers and the smooth operation of trains during the rainfall.
