Current Test captain Joe Root on Thursday equaled a record in the Leeds (Headingley) Test against Pakistan. He equaled the great Tendulkar in terms of scoring the most fifties in Test cricket. He is now set to break this record in the coming days. Root completed his 68th Test fifty on the second day and was dismissed for 66 off 112 balls. He hit 10 fours in his innings.
