Kashi Viswanathan said, “We are confident that Mahi will be available next year and will play for us.” Mahendra Singh Dhoni has been the main face of Chennai Super Kings since the inception of the IPL. However, when the team was banned for two years, Dhoni had to play for Rising Pune Super Giants. If Dhoni plays in the 2026 IPL, it will be his 17th season with CSK and the 19th season of his IPL career.
