The Monsoon Session of the Odisha Legislative Assembly will begin on September 22. September 25 has been reserved for Private Members’ Business, including Bills and Resolutions.
Odisha Assembly’s Monsoon Session To Begin On September 22: The Monsoon Session of the Odisha Legislative Assembly is scheduled to begin on September 22. The session will have 9 working days, with one holiday and 2 non meeting days, as per the provisional calendar. The session will continue till October 3.
The Assembly will conduct official business on September 22, 23 and 24, while September 25 has been reserved for Private Members’ Business, including Bills and Resolutions. There will be no sitting on September 26 and 27 as they fall on Saturday and Sunday.
The House will resume on September 28 and conduct official business on September 28, 29 and 30. The Assembly will also meet on October 1 and October 3 for official business. October 2 has been declared a holiday on account of Gandhi Jayanti.
