Bhubaneswar DCP Jagmohan Meena served as Superintendent of Police in Anugola, Ganjam and Malkangiri, and DCP in Kataka, before assuming charge as Bhubaneswar DCP.
DCP Jagmohan Meena’s resignation accepted: The Odisha government has accepted the resignation of Bhubaneswar DCP Jagmohan Meena. His resignation has been forwarded with the No Objection Certificate to the Ministry of Home Affairs.
Jagmohan Meena, 2013-batch IPS officer had submitted his resignation from the All India Services citing personal reasons. Meena said he took the decision after discussions with his family and friends and requested that his privacy be respected. 37-years-old Meena hails from Rajasthan and is an alumnus of IIT Kanpur. He secured an All India Rank of 849 in the UPSC examination before joining the Indian Police Service. Earlier, Meena served as Superintendent of Police in Anugola, Ganjam and Malkangiri, and DCP in Kataka, before assuming charge as Bhubaneswar DCP on February 28, 2025. However, he did not disclosed his future plans.
