Drishyam 3 storms box- office collections , crosses 100Cr mark: Ajay Devgn starrer ‘Drishyam 3’ has dominated the box-office after its theatrical release. Film’s opening collection stood at Rs 63 crore, making it the biggest opener of Ajay’s career. Let us find out how much the film earned on the second day.

According to Sacnilk report, the film maintained a strong  hold at the box-office on day 2. The film ran across 16, 868 shows on day 2 and collected Rs 53.50 crore net. It’s India gross collection has reached Rs 138.60 crore, while its net earnings stand at Rs 115.50 crore. The film earned Rs 20 crore at the global box office, bringing its total overseas collection to Rs 38.50 crore. This pushed the worldwide gross collection to Rs 177.10 crore.

On opening day the film earned gross collection of Rs 95 crores worldwide. It is expected that the film will easily enter the 200 crore club mark on Sunday. There was a lot of buzz before release of this film. The film generated considerable buzz even before its release, with strong advance bookings and pre-ticket sales.

As per Sacnilk, Drishyam 3 has been screened across 5,932 shows on its third day, adding Rs 13.98 crore to its box-office tally so far. It has also become the third-biggest opening in Bollywood history, leaving behind Dhurandhar 2 and Jawan. It surpassed Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar ( ₹30 crore) Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan ( ₹57 crore), and Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal ( ₹63 crore) to reach the milestone.

Abhishek Pathak directed film ‘Drishyam 3: The Conclusion’ serves as the final installment of the Hindi Drishyam franchise. Alongside Ajay Devgn, the film features Tabu, Shriya Saran, Ishita Dutta, Mrunal Jadhav, Prakash Raj, Jaideep Ahlawat, Kamlesh Sawant, Rajat Kapoor, Saurabh Shukla, Samvedna Suwalka and Neha Joshi in key roles.
