Missing woman found dead in Hyderabad: A woman missing for nine days was found dead in Hyderabad’s Nangole. Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding her death, while the exact cause and manner of death are awaited. The incident has triggered a sense of fear in the area.
The shocking incident has come to light from Hyderabad’s Nangole on Tuesday. The deceased has been identified as Mangamma, a resident of Manikeshwar Nagar under the Osmania University police station limits. She worked as a caterer to support her family. According to Nangole inspector Maqbool Jani, police were alerted after receiving a dial 100 call. A man identified as Arun, who had gone to the area to defecate, spotted the body and alerted the police.
Police team arrived at scene, recovered the body and collected the forensic evidence before shifting it for post-mortem examination. An Aadhaar card also found near the body which helped police to inform Mangamma’s family.

Inspector Maqbool Jani said Mangamma’s body was found with her hands and legs missing. There is possibility that stray dogs or other animals may have eaten the limbs. According to police, Mangamma left home on September 29th, claiming she was leaving for work. When she did not return, her family began searching for her. After a long period of time, they filed a missing person’s report at the Osmania University Police Station. Nearly nine days later, her body was found in a deserted area of Nagole. Police investigations are underway to determine the exact cause and manner of death.
