No ‘zero night’ celebration on New Year.The New Year is going to begin. Amidst all this, the Excise Department has issued restrictions on Zero Night celebrations. The Excise Commissioner has informed that permission from the Excise Department is required for organizing Zero Night on December 31.
Action will be taken if permission is not given. The excise department has said that it will continue the inspection till mid-January. The department has received information from various sources that preparations for Zero Night are going on at some places without permission. Excise Commissioner Narasinh Bhola has warned that the department will take steps to stop this soon, while Zero Night celebrations without permission have been denied in hotels, clubs and convention halls.
