During this three-day visit, bilateral agreements are expected to be signed between the countries to enhance cooperation in defence, energy, trade, and other fields. Bilateral discussions between the two nations are expected to take place between them in 10 sectors. The Prime Minister had also visited Sri Lanka in 2019.
