Cricketer Joins BJP – Former Indian cricketer Kedar Jadhav joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday. He joined the BJP in Mumbai in the presence of Maharashtra Minister and state BJP chief Chandrashekhar Bawakule, Ashok Chauhan and other leaders. Before joining the BJP, Kedar Jadhav met Chief Ministers Devendra Fadnavis and Ravindra Chauhan. After that, he met former Mumbai Cricket Association president and BJP leader Ashish Shelar. After joining the BJP, Kedar Jadhav has heaped praise on Prime Minister Modi.
He said that since 2014, when the BJP government came to power at the center, the kind of love and support they have received and the kind of success Prime Minister Modi and Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis have achieved have inspired me a lot. “My aim is to follow in his footsteps and contribute whatever I can to the BJP,” he said. “I am sure that whatever responsibility I am given, I will try to fulfill it with complete honesty…”
Who is Kedar Jadhav?
Kedar, who has played 73 one-day internationals for the Indian cricket team, hails from Pune. He has had the opportunity to play 9 T20 International matches. Playing as an all-rounder, he has scored 1389 runs in 73 one-day internationals and has also taken 27 wickets. However, he has not bowled a single ball in a T20 International match.
