Duleep Trophy Final Moved from Bengaluru to Chennai
BCCI Changes Venue for Duleep Trophy Final: The 2026-27 Indian domestic cricket season will begin with the Duleep Trophy on August 23, with the final scheduled for September 6.
The BCCI has changed the venue for the final, moving it from Bengaluru to the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. The decision was made to allow more fans to watch the important title clash live at the stadium. All Duleep Trophy matches will be live-streamed, while one quarter-final, one semi-final, and the final will also be broadcast on television.
The first quarter-final will see East Zone take on North East Zone, while North Zone will face West Zone in the second quarter-final.
Young batting star Vaibhav Suryavanshi, 15, will be one of the players to watch closely. Other big names include Ruturaj Gaikwad, Tilak Varma, Rinku Singh, Arshdeep Singh, and Rajat Patidar, who will lead their respective teams.
