Bihar New CM Samrat Choudhary Take Oath , Vijay And Vijendra Are Deputy Chief Minister : The era of the emperor began in Bihar. The new Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary took oath as the Chief Minister. The first BJP Chief Minister after 75 years. Governor Syed Ata Hasnain administered the oath of office and secrecy. Similarly, Vijay Kumar Chaudhary and Vijendra Prasad Yadav from the JDU quota were sworn in as Deputy Chief Ministers.
This is the first time in the political history of Bihar that a Bharatiya Janata Party leader has taken charge as the Chief Minister. The grand oath-taking ceremony was graced by BJP President Nitin Naveen, Union Ministers JP Nadda, Chirag Paswan and Jitan Ram Manjhi.
Two Deputy Chief Ministers of JDU:
On the occasion, two deputy chief ministers from the JDU quota were also sworn in. JDU’s Vijay Chowdhury and Vijendra Yadav were appointed deputy chief ministers, marking a major change in Bihar politics. Nitish Kumar resigned from the post of chief minister on Tuesday, following which Samrat Chowdhury was unanimously elected as the leader of the BJP legislative party at a meeting.
Even before the swearing-in ceremony, banners congratulating Samrat Chowdhury on becoming the Chief Minister were seen on the streets of Patna. Now, with the formation of the new government, a renewed focus on development and good governance is expected in Bihar.
Similarities between the three leaders:
The new Chief Minister of the state, Samrat Chowdhury, and the two Chief Ministers of JDU, Vijendra Yadav and Vijay Chowdhury, bear a striking resemblance. While Samrat Chowdhury joined the BJP after working in many parties, Vijay Chowdhury and Vijendra Yadav have also worked in other parties. Both the leaders started their political journey from other parties as well. Samrat Chowdhury started his political career with RJD and joined BJP after serving in HAM Party and JDU.
On the other hand
, Vijay Chowdhury started his political career with the Congress Party. However, he later joined the Janata Dal (United) and became close to Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Similarly, Vijendra Prasad Yadav started his political career in 1990, when he entered the Legislative Assembly for the first time by winning the Supaul Assembly seat.
Vijendra Yadav won the elections in 1990 on a Janata Dal ticket. When Lalu Prasad Yadav’s term began in 1990, he was appointed as the Minister of State for Power in 1991. When the Janata Dal split in 1997, Sharad Yadav and Lalu Prasad Yadav formed two separate groups. Vijendra Yadav then joined Sharad Yadav’s party and has been with JDU ever since.
