Char Dham Yatra 2026 fully begins: Badrinath Temple opens for devotees: The doors of Badrinath Temple opened for devotees on Thursday morning, marking the full start of the Char Dham Yatra 2026. The temple opened at 6:15 am with Vedic chants and rituals, and thousands of devotees gathered to take darshan.

Chief minister of Uttarakhand Pushkar Singh Dhami visited the temple on the occasion and offered prayers. He wished for peace, happiness, and prosperity for all and welcomed devotees to the Yatra. The temple echoed with chants of “Jai Badri Vishal” as long queues formed for darshan.

The Char Dham Yatra began on April 19 with the opening of Gangotri Temple and Yamunotri Temple, followed by Kedarnath Temple on April 22. With Badrinath now open, all four shrines are accessible, and enthusiasm among pilgrims is high.
